LEGEND – Stories of a Nation,  shares the essence of the Ukrainian culture through stories and the many regions of Ukraine.  Using all original choreography by Melanie Moravski Dechnicz, the dancers will bring these regions to life with energy and excitement.

The featured piece ‘Kyiv’ tells the legend of Kyi, Shchek, Khoryv and their sister Lybid, as founders of Kyiv. This new work represents the birth of the Ukrainian nation through it’s capital and goes on to show Ukraine’s endurance and constant struggle for freedom.
